Casey Shaughnessy is the founder of KCS PR and loves to bring people together: clients, journalists, strategic partners and influencers.

She has an eclectic background in luxury lifestyle PR and sports. Before her PR career, Casey was a sports reporter/producer for several network affiliates in Northern California and Florida.

Casey has leveraged her behind-the-scenes experience in the media to lead accounts for clients such as Benovia Winery, Lail Vineyards, Inglenook, McEvoy Ranch, The St. Regis San Francisco, Plastiki, Boudin, JMA Ventures, Earth Hour, Waterbar and EPIC Roasthouse, Warren Miller Entertainment, and Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group.

While leading large-scale nationwide projects, Casey has forged personal relationships with press from San Francisco to New York and everywhere in-between.  Subsequently, she has secured stories on behalf of clients in such noteworthy outlets as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Wine Spectator, Food & Wine, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Associated Press, CNN, CNBC, Food Network, Good Morning America and ABC’s World News with Diane Sawyer.

Drawing on her broadcast days, Casey is also uniquely equipped to provide hands-on media training for clients.

Casey is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.  She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
